Agitate (verb) 

                                     To excite, disturb, or trouble; make upset or troubled.

Sometimes it is shocking to me how rude high school girls can be. I know this should surprise me, because I am one, so I should be used to it, but some of them just say the rudest things. One of my school friends has became friends with a girl who is rather…well… she’s not very nice to me. Let’s call her Tammy. One of my friends was saying how he was watching a show about a girl that thought she was too ugly to leave her house so she dropped out of high school. And Tammy said that that she probably looked like me. I don’t know if she meant it to be rude or not. –I don’t see how you could say that meaning it to not be— the part that agitated me the most was that she acted like she didn’t realize it was offensive. She said that she didn’t mean to be rude about it, but only after everyone sitting with us said: “That’s really mean…”
